Thrivent Disaster Relief

HURRICANE FLORENCE

As a membership organization of Christians, we know caring people want to support those who are recovering from the hurricane. And we’re making it easy to help.

Make a personal donation

You can make a personal donation through their online giving platform offered in partnership with InFaith Community Foundation to the below organizations helping those affected by the hurricane. Thrivent will match your donation dollar for dollar – up to $1 million. This matching opportunity will run until the match is met or until Dec. 31, 2018, whichever comes first. The organizations below have been selected to receive matching dollars. To donate, simply click on the name of the organization to which you wish to donate:

* Thrivent will pay the processing fees for personal donations made through InFaith Community Foundation, up to $100,000 or until Dec. 31, 2018, whichever comes first.

17th Annual Cruise-in

Friday, September 7, 2018 from 5-9 PM

COS had the honor of serving food again at this year’s annual event. Thrivent Financial assisted us with seed money and t-shirts and many volunteers and donations helped push this event to an all-time record in terms of donations raised ($35,000).  This year’s benefit helped the Appledoorn family with their many financial needs.  Their 13 year old daughter Chloe suffers from Anorexia Nervosa.  Your attendance and help was so appreciated!! Join us again next year for a fun and exciting night of fellowship as we show our love through Christ, serving others in our community.  Thank you to Terry Reimink and Tom Nunheimer for organizing our church’s participation.
